Hyteon is designing, manufacturing and selling fuel cell cogeneration systems for residential applications. Our fuel cell systems can be used to provide the base load electricity requirements of a residence, while producing hot water for domestic needs. Using unique and advanced fuel cell technology to produce power, the systems are very compact and feature best in class fuel to electricity efficiencies. They are designed to work in conjunction with the traditional electricity grid. Through studies of electrical and thermal load profiles, we have been able to establish that simultaneous output of electricity and hot water best matches the requirement for hot water and electricity in our target markets. The use of cogeneration 100% of the time provides the best economic benefits to the end user of the systems.
